I loved what you said about ungodliness being not thinking of God throughout the day or living like we know their is a sovereign, righteous, and holy God on the throne in heaven, So often we get consumed with our schedules, appointments, and friends we forget that life really is all about him and living for his glory. I am so guilty. So thanks for sharing on this aspect of godliness which means attuning your heart and mind to Jesus and living in the knowledge and hope of his awesomeness!!!

That is so true... Exercising IS the craze right now. I am a personal trainer and because of so many sessions training people with just the physical aspect as well as secular music, leaves much to desire.

I am working (with God) on starting a Christian foundation that focuses on our physical health through biblical support. Check out my website and try to spread the word..

Let's put together the physical and spiritual training!

Alexandra
this is SUCH a great reminder. It's so easy to forget how important this is when our lives become busy but our lives are SO much richer when we invest in each other and live life together. God created us that way and it's such a beautiful thing. I have been reminded of how much God has blessed me this year with people to share life with when I am so undeserving. What a great reminder. Our accountability group really did teach me what true, God friendships are. I am forever thankful for you!

Great insight about exercising godliness. I think it is critically important for us to remember that our spiritual "fitness" comes with time. God allows us seasons of unrest, periods of persecution, and tempting trials to increase our fitness, endurance, and stamina.

Excellent points! While most of us realize that we should exercise our bodies more, we seldom realize that we need to train spiritually. We neglect to intentionally live the Christian life. Just like living healthy lifestyles doesn't happen by accident, spiritual growth and following God's will doesn't happen accidently, either. We must be intentional in all that we do.

Love you!
